I really enjoy these In parts. Can't wait to see your forward plan. I agree on it all. I would explore a Klein deal though and try to net assets. Would've loved to have Nichushkin. It was a no brainer I would've made that deal .

Continued over here Tom

I just don't understand why you'd want to trade Mcdonagh? Even if he doesn't get better he's still shown to be one of the best two-way d-men in the world. He's the Rangers best d-man and it's not in question.
- tomburton99

No way I deal him unless a team were to overpay. But I'm not dealing him right now.

-Brassard for Shatty
-Nash for a Kessel like package hopefully
-Glass either in the AHL or to the Coors Light Crush in the Professional Beer League for a 6pack
-Girardi/Staal deal, again I hope
-Stamkos(again, a pipedream)
-Klein to Buffalo maybe in a Marcus Foligno+ deal???
-Demers
-Raanta brought back

Idk. I don't know any of this will happen, and I just feel like the Rangers are going to do something that the majority of us will be frustrated with. On the flip side, TPC will probably love it. Wahtever the move ends up being.

Thanks Anthony. Going to do my best to get Part 3 up tomorrow. Passover starts tomorrow night and going to do my best to write most of it later tonight. If not, it will be up Sunday.

Jan I thought Klein still had 2 more years on his deal? But anyway that is an interesting idea. He would have a lot of value. But the only way the Rangers can move him is if they have some type of capable top 4 d man coming back in some other deal.

McD for Draisitl and a 1st from EDM.
Buyout Girardi.
Brassard for Shattenkirk.
Nash for a 1st and prospects.
Sign Stamkos and bring Buchnevich over.

Why because I love Ellios and Kreider?

But seriously I am open to change, I just don't think they gotta total rebuild and trade McDonagh and Hank.

I could be wrong, but living in Dallas and going to a lot of the games Nichushkin seems too much like Kovalev for me. When he's on he's great but too many nights you leave the building asking yourself if he was even in the lineup that night.

Since we're on the mcd trade bandwagon, here's what I want. Assuming Anaheim loses this game and want a shakeup also

Ana gets McDonagh, Fast

NYR gets Silfverberg, ana decides out of Fowler/Vatenen or Lindholm and Ritchie

Gets us a young prospect and 2 very good players

These are jokes right? Your best bet is to hope giardi gets claimed in the expansion draft. The long term dead cap of 3+ is a non-starter long term. Better to hope you eventually get a scuderi deal or he's claimed in draft.

Brassard for shat - maybe
Nash for 1st and prospects possible with 2+ retained, but the 15 goals isn't that exciting.
Mcdonaugh for draistl and a 1st - not happening. Maybe for draistl

I'd hold onto McD at least to see what happens next year. Not a bad idea though.

I feel like we may getting a little to much in it haha. I don't how Ritchie is viewed currently. But he's a large fella which I like lol. And all 3 of those dman are pretty good in their own right. But to trade mcd I think we have to be blown away
